SPECIAL EFFECTS In this image, special effects has been used to light the stage. To me this looks like some sort of water/river or lake colour/theme with the blues, greens and yellows reflecting onto the ground. It could represent outdoors, lakes, or an adventure on stage.
MOTIVATED LIGHTING #1 In this scene the light appears to be coming from a window in front of them which casts light onto their faces and the documents they both seem interested in. It creates a slight dramatic but more tense scene. The scene as a whole is well lit, which indicates it probably is not a horror or thriller since there is plenty of colour and light in the scene (too much so to be a horror/thriller).
SPECIAL EFFECTS This picture is from 'The 1975' concert and they use pink special effects lighting to represent their new album and their title song "Love me" which is why they have used a pink toned colour, to show romance and love. It creates a cool and dramatic effect on stage along with a tone of blue above and smoky stage.
SPECIAL EFFECTS In this live scene we can see that the group of people on the left hand side of the stage is being lit by rays of white light, to increase the focus on them and to show definition and movement within so many characters. While on the other side we have a sombre blue, and we can only see two shadows. Perhaps a sad scene or death.
SPECIAL EFFECTS In this live dance performance we can see two obvious spotlights on both dancers, which shows definition and angles within the dancers and so the audience can see the movement and levels they use. It creates an overall dramatic effect, probably for a dramatic dance.
MOTIVATING LIGHTING This scene is being supposedly lit by two bedside lamps. It creates an even side lighting on one side of either character. We can see their facial expressions and lines/definition. It is used here to perhaps create a soft romantic setting (even though they don't seem in the romantic mood) but the dimly lit room insinuates a married couple/romantic scene.
MOTIVATING LIGHTING In this shot we can see that the majority of the scene is being lit by the television sat in front of this male character. This is a very abstract scene, with the blue light on his face and static on the TV. It creates a creepy and suspenseful mood on the scene and it shows his facial expressions and angles of his face.
MOTIVATING LIGHTING In this scene we can see it is being lit by a series of candles set in old fashioned candleholders. The fact that they're close to the characters faces creates an 'up light' sort of effect, making the mood and scene more dramatic. It could be a suspenseful moment which is why the darkness of the scene is used but is lit slightly by a few burning candles.
