The next book in the Infernal Devices Series. Set in 17th century London, the main character Tessa Grey, with the help of the shadow hunters in the London Institute, is searching for the man that declared war on the shadow hunters and holds all the secrets to Tessa's past, Axle Mortmain. An excellent book and a good read if you like nail biting adventure with an accompanying love story, you will be unable to put this book down. I definitely cannot wait for the last book.

When people had mentioned how difficult his freshman year would be, he had no idea how right they would be. Of course, they didn’t have a vindictive, evil monster coming back from the dead and chasing after them, or a slayer who just happened to be one of his best friends. It’s the little things that get you in trouble. I highly recommend this book(and series) to any one who wants to have a good read and you might find out it could relate to your life a bit!

A 15 year old ugly girl, called Tally, will turn pretty on her 16th birthday like everyone else has in her city. But stopping her turning pretty is the fact her friend Shay, has run away to a mysterious place called ‘ The Smoke’, were everyone is equal and still ugly. I like this book because it gives you a good insight into how people’s desire to look good, be popular but not be very bright can destroy friendships and that sometimes being ugly, unpopular and smart isn’t all that bad.

Described as "the Da Vinci Code meets Alex Rider" by The Bulletin, Joshua Mowll's final breathtaking installation in the Guild Trilogy finishes what began in Operation Red Jericho and carries on in Operation Typhoon Shore. A cracking good read which comes highly recommended.

Bilbo discovers he is much more than a typical hobbit, and that many diverse lands and peoples exist outside his lush, green home. His transformation is admirable and allows the readers' opinions of the bumbling hobbit to grow. With its vivid imagery and captivating story line, The Hobbit takes its reader on an enchanting adventure that leaves its mark. I recommend this book to both children and adults alike.

With her brother’s death, and her parents grieving, you have to understand why this summer it's hard for Freya to go back to the island where it all happened. This book is very summery, with Freya talking about the islands, exploring the nooks and crannies, the ocean, beaches and bonfire parties - isn't that anyone's dream summer? But so many thoughts are going round and round in her head, so will an unplanned event cost her her life? I rate this book 10/10!

When I read this book, it amazed me how Rosie and Holly lived two different lives, and possibly how different it would of been if they had rewound the clock to when they were born and changed what happened on that night. As Rosie digs into her past, she discovers all the lies she's been told, and the family that isn't her family. I definitely recommend this to teenage girls. My rating will be probably 9/10, and this book is guaranteed to be not boring and a real page turner!

Mahlia and Mouse live a hard but safe life until they find Tool dying in a swamp. As a result of this Mouse gets taken by some soldiers into the Drowned Cities. Mahlia finds an unlikely ally in Tool and they go in to the Drowned Cities to rescue Mouse and to stop the war. I really enjoyed this book because it is filled with lots of action and adventure but it is a bit violent.

It's 1808 and Grace has arrived at a bark hut on the edge of a river to start her life as a servant. But even though she tries hard, nothing she does for her new master ever seems right-especially if it involves Glory, his beloved horse.
