Giraffe Handpint: I painted the students' arm and hand minus the thumb. When dry, I added the outline, cut them out, and had the students add the dots and eyes. This was a simple, fun, and cute first day project for our Giraffe Class.

Then explain to them things that lions do or eat and what types of animals are similar. Maybe make these along with a book about a lion.
