MEET OUR FACULTY: Nikolas Stasulli, Ph.D. Dr. Nikolas Stasulli is an assistant professor in the University of New Haven - College of Arts & Sciences teaching graduate courses in Environmental Science. His research focuses on studying microbial communities and interactions hoping to answer outstanding questions in microbial ecology. To do this, he uses techniques including sequencing and genomic analysis and molecular biology and cloning. #UNewHavenGrad #EnvironmentalScience #Microbiology

She spent nearly 20 years as a member of the Yale New Haven Health System senior staff and nearly 27 years as a Senior Vice President at Greenwich Hospital. Carmela Cuomo, Ph.D. is a professor in the #biology department in our University of New Haven College of Arts and Sciences. She is an expert in marine and coastal hypoxic and anoxic systems, geomicrobiology, and sediment sulfide geochemistry. Some of her research interests include marine policy issues related to power lines, natural gas pipelines and other energy related structures, as well as development of remote sensing tools to assess benthic changes in small estuaries and riverine systems.

Alireza Daneshfar is an associate professor of #accounting in our University of New Haven College of #Business. He is an expert in business evaluation, corporate performance assessment, and new investment feasibility. He has also completed scholarly research in accounting system evaluation and accounting education. Professor Daneshfar has won several prestigious awards from organizations including the American Accounting Association and the Atlantic Schools of Business Conference.
