Veil Nebula (also known as the Cygnus Loop or the Witch Broom Nebula),is in the direction of the constellation Cygnus, which are spacious and relatively weak remnant of a supernova. Supernova source exploded 5.000 or 8.000 years ago, the remains spread over an area of ~ 3×3 degrees and continue to proliferate. Nebula range is not known exactly, but is calculated to be approximately 1.400 and 2.600 light-years. It discovered by William Herschel on September 5, 1784.

Witch's Broom Nebula: The Witch's Broom Nebula is also part of the famous Veil Nebula complex, this being the western portion. The entire complex is the remnant of a powerful supernova explosion which occurred thousands of years ago, sending elements forged in the destroyed stars core into space. The bright star is 52 Cygni.
