I reckon a Coro or Corocraft Duette piece of jewellery is a MUST in every jewellery collection! These double clips could be either worn as fur or dress clips or be combined into one brooch (as pictured). The mechanism for the Duette was patented in 1931. The Duette brooch and clips styles stayed popular throughout the 1940s. This particular piece, the sea horses is signed Coro Craft and is made of sterling. The current market value is approx. NZ$500.

Ok, I have to admit that these NOH mask clip earrings by SELRO can't really be called pretty... However they are rather unique and pretty hard to find. Little information is available about SELRO. The company was based in New York City and manufactured jewellery during the 1950s and 1960s. The owner of the company was Paul Selenger. The current value of these earrings is approx. NZ$100.
