Sight Word Shakers! I made these for a 1st grade class I was working with. I cut out 60 sight words that I received from the teacher, and color coated the bottles according to which list they were from (pre-primer, primer, and 1st grade). There are 4 words per bottle. I have a students guide (on the left) and a teachers guide (on the right, has every sight word used so the teacher can know which sight words are being practiced). So much fun for the students, and so fun to make!

Chalk Cityscape: You really can’t go wrong with bright, blended chalk pastel on black construction paper. I love how the buildings and moon glow. Cut out the buildings on separate paper, place it on the black construction paper, and use the chalk pastels to shade around the buildings. Once you remove the buildings, you’ll be left with this glowing outline.
