Here are before and after pictures of my horse shoes after I soked them in white vinegar and salt. Rust removal in 30 minutes. What you will need: •White vinegar •Table salt •Container big enough to hold your metal object ( I used a tupperware container) • steel wool dish pads (I used a knock-off brand, it doesn't matter) •Cooking oil Directions: Pour white vinegar into container then mix it with salt and wait till salt has dissolved. When salt disolves put metal object (I used a horse shoe) into the solution and let it soak for 30 minutes. When thirty minutes have passed take it out of the solution and scrub it off. (If all the rust isn't off let it set for another 10 minutes) Once the rust is off IMEDIATELY spray the metal with cooking oil then wipe it off so it doesn't rust again.
