This is the best paint for distressing! Mix POP & water (I use 1/3 cup water) in a clean plastic container and shake til smooth. Add paint, shake again and paint your project! No need to sand before painting. After the paint has dried to the touch, sand (it's easier to sand now, but if you don't have time you can sand later). Remove dust with clean, dry rag - I use a dry paint brush to get in the crevices , then wax.
