In sanskrit Yum is the mantra that opens the heart. How to do it? Sit quietly on the floor with a cushion underneath your tailbone, close your eyes and take 3 deep belly breaths slowly counting to 8, hold for 3 and release to another count of 8. Now say aloud Yuuummmm and feel the vibrations in the space of your heart. See the negative emotions draining out your spine down your tailbone and into the earth. Repeat the mantra until you feel calm. ♥
