How I Created This Viral Puddle Reflection Picture in Photoshop
My name is Michael Pistono, and I’m a 28-year-old photo enthusiast living in Honolulu, Hawaii. I was recently playing around with a reflection photo when I had the idea of creating another one out of a puddle — one that featured both tall buildings and an airplane. The photo I ended up creating in Photoshop (shown above) went viral online. Here’s a look at how it was made.

my name is rachael. I am a writer and a wife. I am twenty one years of age. I am my most honest, my truest, my darkest, sharpest self here. this is a place for me to express all of the facets I find intriguing about my universe. I am darkly fragmented and simultaneously brilliant and whole by the grace of God. hello, everyone. thank you for inviting me. please enjoy my meticulously constructed interests. -bleue.

Your unconscious shadow attitudes, inescapably, become the lenses through which you look at life. Refusing to “own” a shadow tendency just makes you less conscious that it is distorting your perspective. Because inevitably, when you can’t see something in yourself, you project the quality onto someone else, either judging or admiring the quality in them.-Sally Kempton

I really like the amount of detail and clarity in this photo. This photo is however a macro not a close-up photograph. There is not a lot of depth of field but the photo is well exposed and as mentioned before, has great clarity. I will try to capture photos with as high a clarity as I can achieve.

...release yourself from the frozen shackles that bind you to the Immobility of Self
John Batho makes me really interested in whats happening in the photo. I look at this have this immediate eerie feeling and sense of another dimension in time and space. I feel like the mood created here is tense and intimidating and its a great way to capture a scary or intense moment
