I found this using Google when I was writing up a lesson on Jump Roping. It is a way to show the students the different things you can do with a jump rope and it can be used as a guide to get students to work on all the skills. And it can be used in different ways to get the students active.
Lovely project using shapes and color - these were 4th grade. Shapes, lines, color - analogous, warm & cool, balance. Scroll down on the blog to find info on completing the project with students. (From May 11, 2011 entry.)
rainbow suite door decs (How I will use this idea: traditional arc rainbow...ending at a pot of gold. The gold will be a 'picture' of and remind/reinforce to the kids that He is the treasure we should search for and he is the treasure who will make your life better-make you your best!)
