Tana was the first Pacific Islander to captain the All Blacks in a rugby test. But the first sport he enjoyed wasn’t rugby but soccer! Tana dreamed of playing for Liverpool. The dream ended when the school coach chose his team by names in a hat. Tana’s name wasn’t chosen and the rest is rugby history. You can read more about Tana's journey in Samoan Heroes.

But when she saw a group of Polynesian students walk into a Law lecture she was encouraged to believe she could study Law. Four years later she graduated with a Law degree!
