Isabella’s first ever project! Base: BOSSY (100% Romney Lambswool) Colourway: Not Old Lady Red Worked in the round on US17/12mm needles, I thought this would be a fab quick knit due to the chunky yarn and thick needles. It was worked in 1x1 rib and stockinette which I found simple to master as an absolute beginner. It grew my confidence and I’m now working on more intricate pieces. A fantastic starter piece! Thank you to all the customers who’ve admired, encouraged and helped out as I fumbled my way through. Freehand knit a vest

Freehand a vest! My leftover yarn frogged from my last project (the Sophie hood) needed knitting, so what better to do than knit another vest. I found myself exhausted from looking at patterns so I decided, naively and confidently, to create my own pattern from scratch. Working on 4.5mm/40cm needles, I casted on 200sts and worked in 2x2 rib until I was content with the width and then switched to 5.5mm/60cm needles. Now began the seemingly endless stockinette in the round. To be continued! I’m going to add more 2x2 rib on the arms and V-neck neckline - so far really stoked with how it has turned out, watch this space! #prosperyarn #freehandknitting #vest #freehand #knitting #yarn
