A large oval sterling silver pendant setting, set with a 25x18mm Whitby jet cabochon. Mounted on a 46cm sterling silver chain. The Whitby jet insert sits level with the edges of the settings. The Whitby jet has been fine smooth finished by hand and is polished to a deep black shine. Whitby jet is a warm and sensuous gemstone which is formed from the fossilised remains of Jurassic age monkey puzzle trees.
