This vase is made from a solid piece of sycamore. It has beautiful proportions and has been turned by hand on a lathe to make it bespoke, tactile and unique in that it is impossible to turn two the same. A real art and craft piece The turned base is a part of one single block of wood and not an add- on which makes a far stronger construction. A real craftsman's piece. There is a beautifully painted Impressionist-style winter snow scene on the face by a professional hand with an extremely well-painted understated border around the image which I hope the photographs do justice.
