This listing is for a finished, ready to ship pillow cover which measures, 17.5" x 17.5" and was handmade with love, care, and concern using quality name brand Michael Miller's "Children at Play" and Riley Blake's Large Dot fabric, thread, piping, zipper, fusible fleece, and fusible interfacing. Fusible fleece was used to line the front of the pocket and fusible interfacing on the pocket lining to give pillow pocket," body and strength" which will help the pocket stand up to multiple uses. This Pillow was constructed with piping which was sewn around the circumference of the pillow and across the top of the pocket. The back of the pillow was made with a zipper closure. A fabric handle which has been top stitched and interfacing included in construction has been added before the pillow back was stitched to the front. Pillow stress points (zippers, handles, pocket) have been double stitched for durability. Finally this pillow was stitched twice around the circumference once with single stitch to sew pillow front to pillow back and then once again with an overcast stitch to secure the raw edges. This will give a finished edge to the interior of the pillow and help prevent raveling threads that can happen when inserting and removing pillow form. Once sewn the reading pocket pillow was turned right side out, pressed and is ready to be packaged and shipped to you. Wash your Child's Reading Pocket Pillow Cover by itself in cold water along with the Shout Color Catcher provided with your purchase. Dry on low and remove from dryer immediately to prevent wrinkling or hang to air dry. If needed you can press pillow cover to remove any wrinkles which occur during drying process. Enjoy!
