Acrylic painting of a blooming orchid I rescued. The, beautiful, mottled, pink phalaenopsis orchid flowers are from the first bloom after bringing the plant back to life. It was ignored at a veterinary clinic next to an x-ray machine, dessicated, and only had two, cat-eaten leaves. I had no idea what the flowers would look like, so it was very exciting to see it growing the flower spike. It is now growing new leaves and numerous healthy roots.
