Details A stunning vintage rug from the Siroua region of Morocco, handmade by the tribes of the Ait Ouaouzguite Confederation in the 1930s. It is made from very good quality wool and is still in excellent condition given that it is over 80 years old! The striking blue field is adorned with a regular tribal pattern using natural dyes of saffron and madder, and surrounded by borders echoing the highlight colours to give a lovely effect.
