Fast growing climbing vine producing an assortment of flat, round, pear and spoon-shaped gourds in solid, striped and bicolour patterns. Make a bright display with yellow, orange, green and white fruit with an average size of 10cm. If left to dry on the vine the gourds will ripen and form a warted, pumpkin-like skin with a hollow interior. Dried gourds have historically been used as a vessel or as a musical instrument and are popular for craft uses and decorations.
