Z Chair
First pieces to be unpacked from my trip north are these ingeniously designed modernist folding Z chairs by Shigeru Uchida. The Z chair folds to nothing and has hinged rocking legs that allow the chair to be utilised as a normal chair when rocking is not desired and a removable pillow. Both chairs have retained their original canvas slings, which apart from some fading present beautifully. The chrome is immaculate and will be blinding once polished. A rare and heavily sought after pair....
