I know matchy-matchy isn't popular, but I just love the elegant coat/capelet/cape with a matching snazzy textured suit or dress, plus a kicky hat made in the same color as the tweed, but done in thick felt. Add the gloves and I could totally get into a comeback of this 1943 style!
1920s handbag, made of blue iridescent glass beads and metal links. The top is dominated by a beautiful silver-plated and black-enameled frame. The closure is brass and finely detailed. Bag has "curtain swag design" detailing on both sides. With 13" chain strap...rather heavy and simply wonderful! Bag measures approximately 6" x 5" X 1/4"(widest) and the chain is 12" long.
Vintage 1940's Black Crochet Handbag with Lucite Handles & Carved Lucite Pull. $125.00. This purse really is very special.. I believe this has been crocheted from black cord. The shape is so pretty and the twisted clear lucite circular handles just make the perfect addition to this beauty. What I love the most is the pull cord on the zip closure with the matching twisted lucite handle that has been carved with leaves. It has been lined with a sturdy fabric and has two pockets, one zipped.
