Soo Sunny Park's Unwoven Light - Composed of 37 individual sculptural units, the installation uses iridescent plexi-glass embedded in pieces of a chain link fence to cast shimmering, colorful reflections across the spacious gallery.
“Capturing Resonance” exhibit at the deCordova Museum (MA).Sculptor Soo Sunny Park and composer Spencer Topel. Park inserted thousands of acrylic squares into chain link fencing, making the piece a constantly evolving palette of colour, shadows, and reflection. The installation also features Topel's audio element, activated by motion sensors so the sound is ever-changing and layered like its iridescent muse.
I love Chihuly glass. I actually have a picture of this in my guest room. The Chihuly installation at the St Louis Botanical garden was amazing. Can't wait to see it come to the Dallas Arboretum this year. :)
