If you are close to Oak Ridge, TN, I recommend this Museum.  There is a great exhibit there that explains the Manhattan Project and the construction of Oak Ridge, TN.  I knew little about the "Secret City" where uranium was refined for the Atomic bomb, so I thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

The present facility, opened in continues to provide the general public with energy information.
