Sept 22-with the Dodger loss today, the magic number to clinch the division was down to 1. The Padres scored a run in the the top of the 1st, but the GIANTS came right back in the bottom of the 1st and scored 2. Scutaro continued his hitting streak, Belt went yard and Bumgarner was great through 5 2/3. Pablo made a highlight reel play, flipping over the fence and coming up ith the ball, all while blowing a bubble. Final score: GIANTS 8, Padres 4. The GIANTS CLINCH THE NL WEST!!!

April 20-as promised, GIANTS manager Bruce Bochy closed by committee. The GIANTS were ahead 3-2 in the bottom of the 9th And the pitchers were Santiago Casilla and Javier Lopez, when the Mets scored a run. Game tied 3-3. Sergio Romo replaced Javier and retired the side. GIANTS scored another run off a base hit by Hector Sanchez. In the bottom of the 10th Clay Hensley replaced Sergio Romo with 1 out. He struck out the next batter and the last one filed out. Final score: GIANTS 4, Mets 3.

May 9-the GIANTS started this outing looking like fierce competitors. Timmy was pitching his best stuff and not only got a hit, but it was an RBI. GIANTS scored twice while holding the Dodgers to 0 runs until the 4th. Timmy struck out Matt Kemp 3 times. Amazing! But the Dodgers came on strong and scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 4th. The Dodgers went on to score 2 more before the game ended, giving the Dodgers the win and the series. Final score Dodgers 6, GIANTS 2.
