This beautiful dress, designed by Edith Head for Elizabeth Taylor to wear in 1951's, A PLACE IN THE SUN.  A strapless boned bodice top with an enormous white tulle skirt over pale green satin, and white violets covering the bust.  One could argue that this dress defined a look for proms and brides for the following decade.
