Starflower  (Tales of Goldstone Wood #4) by Anne Elisabeth Stengl. Christian fantasy, and very, very epic. :) How much you appreciate it will depend on your vantage point--there's a lot of symbolism--but I loved it. Booklist called it akin to the Narnia series.
