I am going to show how you can import .gsd files into the silhouette software to cut.

Just found this out by accident! If you go to open a file in Silhouette cameo, drag the file partway to the "mat" area of the screen and it gives you a preview of the file. Very helpful to me since I have so many files. A GREAT time-saver!  Hope this helps someone else. :)
