Mo, an American Pale Ale by the Maine Beer Company...6.0% ABV. My favorite beer from my favorite brewery. Light, citrusy, a little malt flavor, full-bodied beer. Restaurants in the Northeast should be serving this and other beers from the MBC.
Iowa Pale Ale - Millstream Brewing Company, Amana, IA: This "5.7% ABV IPA is a spot-on reproduction of an English bitter, but with American hops." A "bottle-conditioned amber" brew, with "moderate carbonation and clean, fruity English style yeast aromas". "Caramel malt gives the beer a full, sticky viscosity" and hops "gently take away sweetness toward the end of the palate". A dry finish with a "mostly caramel malt" aftertaste.
