A Rare Queen Anne Japanned Secretaire Cabinet, CIRCA 1710, Height: 7'9" Width: 41" Depth: 21 ½" - The pagoda-form cornice surmounted by gilt ball-form finials over two arched doors enclosing an arrangement of seven drawers; the lower section fitted with a secretaire drawer opening to pigeonholes and drawers, over three graduated drawers, on bun feet. Decorated throughout with chinoiserie decoration featuring a hunt scene of court figures and lions in pagoda landscape settings.
