Soft and supple, these semi-sheer curtains are the perfect choice for spring and summer in the country, or any time you want a light, casual look. A casual yet creative drape for the window is created by this panel. Use a spring rod for best display; the panel comes with a long tie back that buttons to the top. Buttons are at each end of the panel so that the panel can drape left or right. Courtland Cream Tie-up Panel 42"W x 63"L Cotton Unlined

Designer Steven Gambrel and architect Oliver Cope brought an Old Westbury, New York, estate back to life. The living room features a pair of vintage Dunbar armchairs, at left, and twin custom-made sofas, all clad in Sabina Fay Braxton fabrics; a bespoke tufted sofa, in the foreground, in a Kravet silk velvet; an Osvaldo Borsani desk from Center44; and curtains of a Clarence House satin.

I decided to create a new #CurtainHeadboard for our new house. The original is on the left- I hooked a double curtain rod onto the wall & hung curtains as if it were a window. New & improved is on the right- I hung a curtain rod from the ceiling & used pins & nails to pull the hanging curtain back against the wall in a bunched design. I also used pins to drape the valance across the front. #RoyalBed #AlternativeHeadboard #UniqueHeadboard #PrincessRoom

The teahouse is at the center between a guesthouse on the right and a greenhouse on the left. The two end structures have similar forms but completely different looks—the guesthouse is solid with a traditional New England Shingle style design while the glazed curtain walls of the greenhouse provide a light and airy connection to the endless ocean views. At the center, the teahouse connects the two spaces both visually and phystically, particuarly in the Asian-inspired roof wi...

A few rips in the shower curtain or the design on it is looking faded and tired? Time to change it for a new one; before you do so, keep the old one to reuse around the house - it probably still has a little life left in it! Wash the...

La Silla Poses for an ultra HD shoot A curtain of stars surrounds the 3.58-metre New Technology Telescope (NTT) in this new Ultra High Definition photograph from the ESO Ultra HD Expedition. It was captured on the first night of shooting at ESO’s La Silla Observatory, which sits at 2400 metres above sea level on the outskirts of the Chilean Atacama Desert. The majestic telescope enclosure aligns perfectly with the Milky Way’s central region — the brightest section and the area which obscures…
