Freedom is inspired by Jonathan Livingston’s Seagull, a beautiful book about spiritual enlightenment. Connected as one, but going in their own direction. To fly is so much more than flapping wings. The sculpture design originated from playing with the tension and natural flow - discovering the limits of the different shapes metal could adopt. The repetition creates the effect of an endless feeling of freedom. Simple. Graceful. Flying free.
