Elvis photographed in Memphis, TN by journalist Lloyd Shearer in the last week of July 1956. Shearer was on assignment for "Parade" magazine. In this photo he is wearing a pink short-sleeve shirt with a black band woven in-and-out of the collar which he bought from his favorite clothing store in Memphis, Lansky Brothers in '56. In 1974, Elvis’ dad, Vernon gave it as a donation to the Salvation Army. Take a look at the shirt: https://de.pinterest.com/pin/380906080965165112/

Photo: July 3rd, 1973 - 8:30 pm Atlanta, GA.The last time Elvis would wear a cape on stage (regularly) would be during his 8:30 pm show on July 3, 1973 in Atlanta, GA at the Omni Coliseum? He was wearing the "Egyptian" suit with the "Fire Suit" belt and "Yellow Cape". However, during "Can't Help Falling In Love" on March 1st and 2nd, 1974 while performing in Tulsa, OK., a cape was brought out for Elvis to use. During both concerts, the cape was only used for the closer.

I DID IT MY WAY! THE KING wearing his famous MEXICAN SUNDIAL jumpsuit in Macon, Georgia on June 1st,1977. The Mexican Sundial made it's debut during the very short October 1974 Tahoe engagement, but after that, it wasn't worn again until 1977. Although some claim that there were at least two versions made of this suit, it's not true. There was only ONE version made, and this has even been confirmed by Gene Doucette, ELVIS' original wardrobe designer. He wore this suit extensively in 1977.
