Agarwood is a gorgeous aromatic wood (Aquilaria agallocha) that has been used traditionally as a perfume ingredient, temple incense & as medicine. It is considered a 'wish-filling gem', used to attract good fortune when used with heart-centered intention. When lightly heated as an incense it emits one of the most beautiful aromas ever! It is simultaneously deeply calming & euphoric. From time to time (when supply permits) we have a gorgeous agarwood perfume attar that David likes to make.

The Art of Japanese Incense Ceremony - Kodo 香道Kōdō (香道, "Way of Incense") is the Japanese art of appreciating incense, and involves using incense within a structure of codified conduct. Kōdō includes all aspects of the incense process, from the tools (香道具 kōdōgu) -- which, much like tools of the tea ceremony, are valued as high art -- to activities such the incense-comparing games kumikō (組香) and genjikō (源氏香).
