The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe as far as I have learned this is the most accurate book of Marilyn's real life, not what people imagined or thought up or told stories about but what actually happened. She is far more relatable then most people would imagine. This is by far one of my favorite books I have ever read in my life and although it's long ITS SO WORTH IT!
"The way we got her shade of platinum was with my own secret blend of Sparkling Silver bleach plus 20-volume peroxide and a secret formula of silver platinum rinse to take the yellow out." Gladys Rasmussen, Marilyn Monroe's first studio stylist. (Gladys never fully revealed Monroe's formula when alive and left no records behind.)
