Tech Guide 2013

Biolite Campstove $130 (fire that charges batteries) We know a genius idea when we see one. This compact camp stove uses a thermoelectric generator to convert heat energy from your little blaze to electricity. That juice then powers a fan that helps keep the fire going, while excess power is diverted to recharge your cellphone or LED flashlights. It burns twigs, pine-cones, or wood pellets, and the rig then collapses into a packable unit. See? Genius.

Ultraoptec UltraTec Waterproof LED Solar Lantern

Ultraoptec UltraTec Waterproof LED Solar Lantern - A fun and functional multitasking outdoor lantern that is waterproof is a wonderful thing. Think summer evening hikes or winter nights huddled around the camp fire. The UltraTec Silicone Solar Lantern is rechargeable by solar or USB and is made of break resistant silicone and thermoplastic polymer.

Here’s a watch that Neo from The Matrix would love. As usual, it’s from those crazy kids at Tokyoflash, so good luck deciphering the time on this one. The watch can be recharged via USB, and the display is e-paper, which makes it look cool. With all of the cool watches that Tokyoflash offers I don’t know why anyone still wears a conventional watch. Oh yeah, they want to know the time easily. I would wear this one though. Pretty neat.

Lol. This is awsome:D haha @Janine Hardy Hardy Hardy Munder
