Chocolate-Dipped Candied Orange Peel Peel an orange, make sure to remove the all of the white pith (which is bitter). Slice the peel into strips, and blanch the strips in water 3 times. Boil in a simple syrup until softened, and lay them to dry on parchment. Once dried they can be dipped in melted chocolate, or just eaten straight.
