The Sea Hunt, a 90′ Long-liner, based out of Newport Oregon, was recently hauled out at Platypus Marine Shipyard. During her dry-dock period, she received a new sonar tube, two coats of Shark Skin anti-fouling paint and her zincs were replaced as needed. Her knowledgeable and experienced, knowledgable Captain, also arranged for the prop shafts to be inspected and replaced the bearings. The Hardworking Sea Hunt was launched and is back on its way to Newport Oregon.

City of Port Angeles

In early May of 2016 Jamie Marie was found in Ocean Shores Oregon run aground. The vessel did not lose any fuel or cargo during this unfortunate accident. The United states Coast guard assisted the fully functioning vessel to be transported to Platypus Marine for an emergency drydock period. While located in the Pacific Northwest Shipyard, Jamie Marie had Sharkskin Antifouling paint applied to the hull, had her stern bearing replaced, replaced and coated Keel Coolers for optimum use.
