Victorian sterling silver salver. Georgian Revival. Made by Atkin Brothers in Sheffield, England in 1897. Circular with curved sides. Well has etched foliage and central asymmetrical cartouche with engraved sword-bearing knight. Rim is everted with gadrooning, foliage, and shells. Rests on 4 lobe supports with foliate mounts. A substantial piece of late Victorian silver. Dimensions: H 1 ¾ x Dia 17 ¾ in. Weight: 76 troy ounces.
