Homemade Hershey's Chocolate Syrup .5C packed cocoa powder 1C water 1.5C sugar 1/8 tsp salt 1/4 tsp vanilla extract Whisk cocoa powder and water in lg saucepan. Heat and whisk to dissolve the cocoa. (M-L heat) Add the sugar and stir/whisk to dissolve. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes. Be sure to watch this VERY carefully. Remove from heat; stir in salt and vanilla extract. Let cool completely and skim off any skin that may have formed.
