Red tantra is the aspect of the tantric path that deals with grounding the Spirit into the body by awakening the senses. While the corrupt ego perceives the senses as objects and exploits their power, the senses are Divine in origin and exist to let our higher levels of consciousness experience pleasure on the physical plane. When senses are awakened to their Divine origin through spiritual Love, we can be present to take pleasure in the experiences.
On the topic of impassioned focus: "Eventually, everything connects—people, ideas, objects… the quality of the connections is the key to quality per se… I don’t believe in this ‘gifted few’ concept, just in people doing things they are really interested in doing. They have a way of getting good at whatever it is." -Charles Eames

Ellsworth Ltd., in honor of Susan Dillon, 1987 (1987.80.1) #dance #Shiva | As a symbol, Shiva Nataraja is a brilliant invention.
