Great example of how correlation does NOT imply causation. It is sad that most people do not understand science. Ask your students to propose other reasons for the data such as poverty or access to health care. Better yet, have them come up with other positive correlations with infant mortality such as number of supermarkets or number of television sets.
Food Classification Activity to help teach what is good for us and what is not good. Remember to tell children that even though some foods aren't good to eat it, but that it's ok to have it every now and then.
Phantom of The Opera Quilt. My Mom made this and my Gma helped sew it all together! I can't sew so I helped with the design/picking fabric part of it. I love the Phantom of The Opera broadway musical & all things Phantom. This completes my room! :) There is no pattern to this quilt unfortunately, it was more of a creative effort and a quilt inspired by one we saw online.
