Keawakapu Beach, Maui. My favorite Maui beach! It is part of at least two miles of sandy beach. Great for snorkeling, walking, jogging, boogie boarding, body surfing, sun bathing, swimming and anything else you can think of ;)
Sunset at Wailea Beach We can’t afford to spend $600+ a night to stay at the Four Seasons in Wailea. Not many people can! The beach in front of the Four Seasons is the loveliest we went to on Maui and, luckily for us, it’s free to the public. It’s a great beach for swimming during the day and calm enough for small children if you visit in the morning before 10am. Wailea beach is at it’s absolute best at sunset and you’ll get a cracking view of the sun going down across the ocean.
Baldwin Beach Maui - just a couple of minutes West of the Historic Town of Paia. To the far left of the main parking lot to the West end of the beach, ‘Baby Beach.’ This area is protected by a barrier reef wall which allows for a calm cover for swimming, playing in the sand, and having a calm family picnic. To the far right of the parking lot is the ‘Cove,’ an area frequented by the bohemian-style Maui folks, yogis, families with kids, and sometimes fire dancers and DJ’s!
