Black Coral and earring set (Neitha)

This black coral necklace and earring set is made from the natural black coral. However, this coral is rarely found, this one found in Belize, Central America. Most coral you come across in the market has been dyed to give it a 'better' look; because coral is one of the few millennial old ecosystems that can grow and is one of the hardest materials to find. They come in a array of colors and easily catch people's eyes. This black coral set was hand-carved by our fine artist. Earring is 5/16" diameter x 1", not including the hook. Necklace is 23" length, pendent on the center of the necklace is 1/2" diameter x 11/16" length.

Hawaiian Black Coral Pin, Sheep Head Pictorial - Unique & Vintage

Large single solid hunk of NATURAL black coral with patterns of white coral within. Looks to be a hunk from the base of a large colony - you can see concentric white circles where the smaller branches few out of. If you look at it horizontally with the narrow side to the right, the white coral swirls create in profile, the mouth nose & eye of a sheep! Wonderful brooch for any collector of black coral or Hawaiiana. Measures 2-1/4 inches at its widest and 1-3/4 inch at its tallest. Condition is excellent. See the photos. They are an important part of my description. Most of the white is coral, not photographic reflection. Reasonable offers will be considered.
