Krk-a-REEEE! Oh, Agelaius phoeniceus, my favorite bird to hear. We'd never heard them in D'ville before 2015, but now we seem to have one on the river, and I can't tell you how happy that makes me. Also happy-making, this sentence: " In the vast majority of the other Ojibwa language dialects, the bird is called memiskondinimaanganeshiinh, literally meaning 'a bird with a very red damn-little shoulder-blade'."
