Detailed, hand-painted antique lamp base holds a hand-dyed Fuschia Peony & Butterfly silk lampshade. The shade is ombre-dyed from deep teal to fuschia and covered with brilliantly colored antique Asian flowering vine appliqués The shade is covered in a rich gold and black net and then overlaid with the floral motifs. The colors on this lamp are intense and beautiful while on or off and lights up beautifully. The shade has hand beaded fringe in matching tones.
Two-piece dress, 1870. Pale blue silk. Bodice has button-down front with tiny dark blue crocheted buttons. Longer in back pleated at side hips. Pleated pocket on side. Bustle skirt with draping and shirring. Slit up front to show ruffles and pleating of alternating shades of blue. Bright red silk trim around jacket, pocket, collar, sleeve edges, ruffles.
