Shanghai Disney Resort is set to open on the 16th of June, but the theme park has already welcomed a whooping 1 million visitors. According to Shanghai Daily, since the Shanghai Disney metro station opened, Shanghai Disneyland has welcomed 960,000 visitors. Reports further say that tickets for opening day sold out within hours and the park is already sold out for the first two weeks of operation. It is projected that by the end of the year.
