30 Day Photo Challenge, begins today. Minus my camera, so I will do the first two tomorrow -April 2013

Ben's 30 Day NZ Photo Challenge  Day 1 of 30  Location: Mt Hutt Gear: 5D Mark III 70-200 2.8 at around 105mm  We've arrived safe and sound and to be honest we haven't seen a huge amount just yet! We spent the day running around Christchurch getting all we needed for the next few days. Grabbed this shot at around 8.30PM when we stopped to take in the incredible mountains being lit by the moon. We've parked up for the night and about to sleep 11.30pm. Off to Lake Tekapo tomorrow…

My wife losing her glasses and then us retracing our steps to find the exact spot I took yesterday's picture from. It did lead to today's picture too of the same range in the sun from about 1km further down the road. We've had rain & wind and expecting 1 degree temperatures in the morning but we're parked up next to Lake Alexandrina for chilly…

Though it sounds like it's a bit of a challenge to get to, seeing this beautiful rock formation, and its heart-shaped blowhole (whether nature's handiwork or formed with the help of human hands), up close and in person would be well worth the effort!
