Field hospitals were a common sight during the First World War. Because of the intense fighting a lot of soldiers got wounded and were transported to a field hospital to recover. As you can see on this postcard, the hospitals not only healed physical wounds, they nurtured the morale as well in order to prepare the men for the front again. #WWI #WarPics #HistoryPics #History #WarPhotos #OldPhotos
