Blossom-silk scarf Armenian illuminated manuscripts reach us from the 6th century. The illustrated books supplemented with decorated initials, borders, and miniature illustrations have been the breath and the spirit of Armenian manuscript tradition throughout centuries. Inspired by the letters and the figures of the manuscripts and the ornaments of Armenian architecture, along with the color of Vordan red (Armenian red) were the creative impulses for this design.
